Toyota announced that it will bring in this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed the Toyota GT86 TRD Griffon Project.
The car is specially developed for the track and wearing mechanical differential of TRD, compared with Torsen wearing the standard version, with the final drive ratio has shortened to 4.8:1. Moving on, some of the several changes of GT86 is the new coil over suspension and TRD monoblock calipers with racing pads.
Among the most noteworthy are the brave weight reduction of 227 pounds and now totals to 1,034 pounds. This reduction comes from the use of carbon in the doors, the hood, the roof, the rear spoiler on the boot lid, while the diffuser, bumpers and front spoiler from CFRP.
