The last time we had read something about the production model of the Audi Sport Quattro concept was that eventually it will come out in production due to low demand.
However with 30th birthday first Audi Sport Quattro is just around the corner, rumors flared that the Germans coming to the Frankfurt Motor Show will present his successor.
The German Autozeitung says the production model will be sportier than the Audi Sport Quattro concept having sharper design than this.
It is made of CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic), aluminum and magnesium making it weighs close to 1,300 pounds.
The original supplied with the 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine of the TT-RS, which yield 408 horses with 480 Nm of torque, but the production model will wear the Twin-Turbo V8 4,0-liter 650 horsepower performance. These horses will allow him to do 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.
Will brake with carbon-ceramic discs, will be wearing sports suspension and of course sport quattro rear differential.
The model will go on sale in 2014 with an initial price in Germany close to 115,000 EUR.
