Porsche stops the production of Cayenne and Panamera due to floods in Europe

Porsche was forced to close yesterday’s plant in Leipzig, Germany, after the floods in recent days affecting Europe did not allow suppliers to equip the plant with replacement.

Porsche spokesman said the rain did not allow the train to transport the bodies of the Porsche Cayenne and Porsche Panamera from the Volkswagen plant in Bratislava, on that of Leipzig.

So now stopped the production of Porsche Cayenne and Porsche Panamera in Leipzig plant. There the workers of the factory manufacture 450 cars daily with Porsche to offset the loss of production sometime in the near future, since it will add extra shifts.

Have factory in Leipzig and BMW, which through a spokesman said he was not facing supply problems of its suppliers so far.
