BMW introduces an updated ConnectedDrive system

BMW shows us the renewed ConnectedDrive which promises us how’s infotainment system to a completely new dimension. The new ConnectedDrive features SIM slot and will now be available in 14 new markets, bringing the total number to 25.

With its new, improved GUI, better speech recognition technology and several new features such as emergency call system Intelligent Emergency Call. The latter system automatically notifies the fire department and police carrying vehicle location and severity of the accident.

Also the BMW launches BMW ConnectedDrive Store which offers apps such as Deezer, Napster, Rhapsody, TuneIn Radio, Audible and Glympse. Finally BMW will offer streaming Entertainment service, which will give access to 12 million songs and 250 commercial channels.
