We saw no trace of the camouflage few months ago, but now a BMW 4-Series caught on a parking lot in Germany dressed with minimal camouflage. BMW is expected to our shows sometime in summer, possibly during June, with the official debut to be in the exhibition in Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
The Coupe version of the 3-Series retains most design features of the BMW 4-Series Coupe Concept and compared with the 3-Series features a new front bumper, vented fenders and new rear lights. The car photographs is version 435i Sport Line which features LED luminaires, wheels 19-inch sports bumper, grille and dark black tailpipes.
The 4-Series will initially be available with two engines, the 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo Performance 245 hp and 350 Nm torque (version 428i) and the 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo Performance 306 hp and 400 Nm torque (version 435i ). Both engines are mated to either a 6-speed manual gearbox, or an 8-speed automatic, which send the traffic to the rear axle. The extra equipment there will be all-wheel drive (versions 428xi and 435xi). From 2014 will start sales and 435d.
According to the brochure Order the four-ara will be offered with full LED front light fixtures, new navigation system and several M Sport accessories. It is available in 3 trim Luxury, Sport and M Sport Line, Modern with the 3-Series to be absent.
The production starts in July at the BMW plant in Munich, with the open version (F33) to enter in production in November 2013 and will be built at the BMW plant in Regensburg.
