Audi allegedly working on an MPV version of the Audi A3 and presents it as a concept sometime in 2014, with the production version coming in 2015.
A year ago there was a rumor that the German company prepares Audi A4 Superavant, but apparently rejected in favor of Audi A3 seven-seat MPV. In a recent interview the head of the Research and Development department of Audi, Wolfgang Dürheimer said:
I think there is certainly room for such family cars in the range of Audi, but should be elegant, like any Audi.
Based on Passepartout MQB platform of the Volkswagen Group, having larger wheelbase by 200 mm. compared with the 2013 Audi A3 Sportback. Chances are a concept version will be out in 2014, most likely followed by a release of a 2015 production model.
