Dodge Journey (aka Fiat Freemont in Europe) is on the market since 2008 and will remain at least for another 2.5 years, since according to the latest reports, the new generation will occur in 2016.
Will be manufactured at the plant of Chrysler Sterling Heights in Michigan and once CUSW platform, the same used by the Dodge Dart, Jeep Cherokee and the new Chrysler 200.
The shift of production of SUV in Michigan will reduce costs, but could increase the price of the next-generation Fiat Freemont, since the cars are exported from the USA, we have higher charges than those exported from Mexico.
