The Rolls-Royce, except manufacturer of luxury cars, is a superpower that has to do with the engine jet.

Recently signed an agreement to support the effort Bloodhound SSC for breaking the speed record on the ground. This agreement is limited to financial assistance and exchange engines and technology, as the Rolls-Royce is equally concerned with the Bloodhound in promoting and advancing science, technology, engineering and mathematics for children in the UK and around the world.

The UK company will provide the EJ200 jet engines and supplying combat aircraft Eurofighter Typhoon with force of 20,000 pounds of thrust. The engine will be the first stage of the hybrid rocket hopes that the Bloodhound SSC will do to catch 1,000 miles / hour (1,602 km / h). Incidentally, although the Rolls-Royce had not officially deal with Team Bloodhound, were the machines that were used to break the previous speed record Bloodhound Thrust 2 and Thrust SSC.
