Toledo Assembly builds 1 millionth Jeep Wrangler

The Jeep with great joy announced the production of the millionth Jeep Wrangler (JK) from the production line at its factory at Toledo in Ohio of US.

One millionth model is a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition and pulled out of the production of the vice president of production lines of Chrysler Group, Mauro Pino and the chairman of its employees Jeep, Dan Henneman.

The Pino in the context of the event said:

Each Jeep Wrangler has been sold to some client around the world have been born here in Toledo. Since the plant opened eight years ago, the workforce of the factory has built all these Wrangler with pride, passion and concentration on quality. We look forward to producing the next million.

Let me remind you that the Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition is available in two-door and four-door version. Mechanical time the V6 Pentastar 3,6-liter engine performance 285 hp and 352 Nm torque. The traffic is sent to all four wheels via either a 6-speed manual or via a 5-speed automatic transmission.

The special edition features a locking Tru-Lok electronic differentials, rear axle Dana 44 and the Rock-Track. Compared with the simple Rubicon the anniversary edition features a 0.5 inch greater ground clearance, 17″ wheels with BF Goodrich KM2 tires size 265/70.
