Infiniti will pull the market new hybrid sports car in 2016. It borrows technology from the original Emerge-E and Essence and features either a range-extender, or plug-in technology.
The Andy Palmer said the new model will be as it was a sporty model of Tesla, but will be more flexible in terms of autonomy.
The Palmer clarified that the model will not borrow the engine of Nissan GT-R, since it is not suitable for the Infiniti, because of noise, vibration and harshness. Customers of Infiniti, as stated by Palmer, is not willing to compromise, after asking the premium brand of Nissan, giving them the best he can.
