New pictures of the Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition

Alfa Romeo has released some new pictures of the Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition painted in Alfa Red, the second color will be initially available after Carrara White.

We saw close to the Geneva Motor Show in March, the Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition has limited production of 1000 units, of which 500 will go to America, 400 in Europe, Africa and the Middle East and another 100 in the rest of world.

The style varies from the special aerodynamic kit of carbon fiber (including spoiler and door mirror caps), dark-colored aluminum rear diffuser, front lights “bi-LED” and special alloy wheels 18″ (front) and 19″ (rear ) with tires 205/40 and 235/35 respectively. To further enhance the sporty, there are front air intakes, brake calipers specific color, race exhaust, BMC air filter kit and suspension with special settings for the rear shock absorbers and stabilizer bar.

Equivalent is the sporty character of the interior, with sports seats in cloth / leather and alcantara elements, aluminum section and aluminum gear knob, just like a typical signal while in the car with red body are red stitching on the steering wheel, handbrake , the seats, the floor mats and grab handles.

Mechanically has no change to the “simple” version and so the 1.750 Turbo four-cylinder with aluminum block engine delivers 240 horses with 350 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic dual-clutch TCT gearbox with paddles on the steering wheel while the Alfa DNA switch has four programs Dynamic, Natural, All Weather and Race. The last program is for use within the track, improving the dynamic characteristics of 4C. 0-100 km/h makes in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of over 250 km/h, while its weight is at 895 pounds with carbon fiber chassis only weights 52 pounds.

The Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition is expected in the market with a price of around 60,000 EUR including VAT.
