The French company Venturi and Ohio State University collaborated to create the Venturi VBB-3, which will attempt to set a new world speed record for electric cars.
Will be presented on the Bonneville salt flats during Speed Week, the VBB-3 qualifies as the most powerful electric vehicle ever built, and the motors have an efficiency of 3000 Horses.
These are the only information available so far for the vehicle and Roger Schroer will attempt to break his own previous record he had made in 2010, with Venturi VBB-2.5, when it had touched 495 km/h.
If everything goes on schedule, this year the electric car will catch the 600 km/h, with the company indicate that it will continue its minor improvements to exceed 700 km/h.
