MG is preparing to launch a new family of modern GDI engines

The SAIC, the parent company of MG preparing new turbo GDI petrol which will begin sales in China in 2014 and in Europe in 2015. The new generation of engines will also feature a three-cylinder engine 1.000-lt similar power output with those from Ford. Also there will motors 1400 and 1500 mL which will be placed in MG3, MG5 and the production version of the MG CS Concept.

Also the Chinese working on two automatic dual clutch transmission technology, the technology is a fluid clutch and can handle up to 359 Nm of torque, and the other being dry clutch technology and can handle up torque 223 Nm torque. The first will go on sale in 2013 and the second in 2015.
