The Alfa Romeo is working on the 6C coupe and sedan based on Ghibli

Latest reports are saying that the Alfa Romeo develops a new sedan and coupe, which the car can get called Alfa Romeo 6C.

Both models will be wearing the same twin-turbo V6 engine jointly developed by Maserati and Ferrari and was recently featured in the brand new Maserati Ghibli. Apart from the engines, the Alfa Romeo 6C is likely to borrow its platform small Maserati Quattroporte but has a more sporty orientation and more aggressive styling. There are chances to wear the all-wheel drive system of the Ferrari FF and / or other data transmission from Maranello, such as the dual-clutch gearbox.

Stylistically the Alfa Romeo could adopt some ideas from the beautiful Gloria Concept, of our own Alexander Lioki or from 6C Concept Study of Alex Imnadze. The four-door coupe 6C expected to be very elegant with a possible release date to 2015 with initial plans to talk about 40,000 units annually.
