The Bugatti gave the official video of the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Car Edition to break the record open top speed production car in the world, on a test track Ehra-Lessien of Volkswagen.
Behind the helm sat the Chinese racing driver Anthony Liu, who grabbed the 408.84 km/h. The Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Convertible is simply a special edition of the Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse to celebrate the new record, and this time the 8.0-liter W16 tetratourmpo engine which delivers 1,200 horses with 1.500 Nm torque.
Additional 199 horses from larger and larger turbo intercooler with reprogramming ECU while the chassis is received and it upgrades to withstand greater force.
The engine is mated to a 7-rapid DSG gearbox which sends traffic to all wheels with 0-100 km/h can do in 2.6 sec, the 0-200 km/h in 7.1 seconds with a top speed of 410 km/hour.
Has an average consumption of 37.2 litres/100 km and 867 g/km emission of CO2. Will debut next week in Shanghai Motor Show and report only 8 such cars will come in production cost 1.99 million, net of taxes of each country.
