The new 2014 Jeep Cherokee when they go on sale in Europe, will be available with diesel engines that will come from Fiat. This was revealed by CEO of Jeep, Mike Manley from Shanghai Motor Show where found.
Sales of the new Jeep Cherokee in Europe will commence in the third quarter of 2013 (in America from Q2) and the continent will be equipped with the 2.0-liter diesel engine of Fiat. The same engine is fitted in the Fiat Freemont, and will be available in two versions, with 140 and 170 hp. Also, the Cherokee in Europe will be equipped with 2.4-liter Tigershark gasoline yield 184 hp and 232 Nm torque.
