Smart shows production version of winged ForJeremy [w/ video]

During the Auto Show in Los Angeles last year, Smart showed in the special and strange society Smart ForJeremy developed in collaboration with fashion designer Jeremy Scott. Whoever thought it would be a simple concept of living finally hit the market in a few days, or at least, it does for the Germany.

Oddest thing about this model is the design of the rear, with two “wings” coming out of the sides and which increase the overall length of the assembly. It’s not just an aesthetic detail that we like in drafting, but we assume that if it is finally sold is by having an audience willing to pay for one. And do not be cheap.

Smart has announced in Shanghai Motor Show that the street version of the prototype will be available with both petrol engine and electric version, the latter both normal with the last name “Brabus”. The first develops 102 hp and moves with ease urbanite small body while the second, with 75 hp (82 hp for the Brabus), is sufficient for urban travel, always uncontaminated.

Recommended prices for the German market scare. Brabus 102 hp version is available from €33,333 while the electrical part of the €34,800 in its “normal” and €40,600 of Brabus Electric Drive.

Standard equipment includes power steering, electric windows, alloy wheels , automatic climate control, seats, door panels and dashboard in leather exterior sports package (Brabus), LED daytime running lights, integrated sound system with navigation and touch screen, heated front seats, ESP, ABS, EBD, four airbags, Mouse Specific, etc..
