MG has gone from being a British icon to be a firm SAIC, one of the automotive giants in China. Now try to open a hole in his return to the British Isles, where the MG6 does not end sales jell. The MG3 and MG5 will soon populate the range of the firm in their old homeland, before the new diesel engines this partner General Motors can serve for a return to continental Europe, and really challenge the established power in the automotive world.
But while production versions of MG5 (after a concept that we liked each other ) does not say much, this MG CS Concept, SUV cousin of that “five”, has every chance of winning hearts in the West, if is that people can achieve their ideals fade bias against Asian products.
Fever is something global compact SUV, and MG CS is a good example of this.
SAIC has not offered a single technical detail about the CS, but we can assume that this concept will end quickly become a production model to China, and then come imported to the UK, and who knows if in the short term to Europe.
The key, as always, will be in the trading price. If the car is able to move well, be well equipped, successfully pass the impact test (which is already done other current MG models), and above all, is able to cut down the prices of its rivals already settled, could be an asset to become a bargain accessible.
