The next generation of the Volkswagen Tiguan goes on sale in late 2014 and rumors say that the model will be available in five-seat version, in 3-seater coupe, but also in versions with short or long wheelbase.
The 5-seater retains the same dimensions as the current model, while the version with the long wheelbase will have larger rear doors. The coupe 3-door version will features a sporty design, with flat roof and more “daring” tailgate.
Machines will be equipped with 1.4-lt and 1.8-lt TSI engine performance from 140 to 220 hp, while diesel side there will 1.6-lt and 2.0-lt TDI engine performance from 110 to 204 hp. There will also be hybrid and BlueMotion version.
The 5-seat version will be the first version that will go on sale, while the other version will be released a year later.
