Opel announced that the new 1.6 SIDI Turbo petrol engine of 170 hp and 280 Nm torque after Opel Cascada, placed and Opel Zafira Tourer. With this engine, which is combined with a Start / Stop, the Opel van has an average consumption of 6.6 l/100 km and 154 g / km emission of CO2.

The new 1.6 SIDI Turbo is one of the three major engines being introduced for the 2013 Opel Zafira Tourer. With the 2.0 BiTurbo CDTI, becoming the fastest compact, versatile diesel, while the new generation of 1.6 CDTI reduces NOx emissions by 70% and already meets the emissions standards Euro 6. The sophisticated engine also combines maximum 320 Nm of torque with a consumption of 4,1 lit/100 km and emits just 109 g CO2/mi – excellent price for a spacious seven-seater.
