BMW i3 will go on sale by the end of July, and the UK will start from £35.000 (€40.800) for pure electric version and from £38.000 (€44.300) for the range-extender version. The earliest traditions are expected to begin by the end of October with the i3 to make official debut in Frankfurt Motor Show.
The pure electric BMW i3 will be wearing an electric motor on the rear axle performance 125 kW (170 hp) with 250 Nm of torque, which is mated to a single speed transmission with the 0-60 km/h does it in less than 4 seconds with 0 – 100 km/h to make around eight seconds with a top speed stands at 150 km/h. Will cost between €35.000 and €40.000 in Germany and has a range between 130 to 160 km.
As for the BMW i3 with range-extended engine , will wear a small gasoline engine, derived from bike BMW. This is the 652 ml GS efficiency of 48 horses which will charge the battery in order to extend the autonomy of BMW i3 to 300 km, with respect to the 160 miles of pure electric version.
