Rumors go around that Jaguar could be working on an even more powerful version of the F-Type which will go on sale before 2016.
The more horsepower will come from the 5-liter V8 engine with compressor installation, the same lying and the 2014 Jaguar XJR and Jaguar XKR-S GT, with the power to reach around 600 hp while torque is expected to be close to 680 Nm.
The boss of Jaguar, Adrian Hallmark, does not confirm the model, but said that the British marque is planning to release limited edition models of the standards of the XKR-S GT. The Hallmark added that during the evolution of the XKR-S GT, the company’s engineers experimented with a more powerful turbocharged variants of the V8 5.0-liter engine, which means that it is possible to “make” more horsepower.
Heard that a concept can make an appearance at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed , but the production version is still at least three years away.
