Reported analyzes and studies by Land Rover as to whether it would make sense a convertible version of the Land Rover Evoque have shown how, economically, investment would not be profitable to adapt the assembly line and the vehicle itself, with reinforcements to ensure rigidity whole.

Seeing the situation, it seems that finally the British firm have thought that the most interesting will introduce optional equipment one large panoramic roof, like the present, but with electric drive that allows you to slide any part (not know if it will be split into two). This would serve to calm the complaints of some customers who have been clamoring for such an option (not everyone wants a fixed sunroof).

As for other news of the brand, we know that Land Rover will feature only two platforms to develop their models. On one side is the EUCD that share the LR2 Freelander and Land Rover Evoque, and secondly the D7 newly released by the Land Rover Range Rover and will enable greater flexibility. The use variants with elongated body of the Land Rover Range Rover, the LR4 Discovery Land Rover Defender and even the future, it seems has been delayed a bit to adjust the layout of the DC100 to the tastes of consumers.

Yet, the worst news is we will not see the lovely Land Rover Evoque Cabrio on the market. The concept seen last year at various events showed a silhouette and stunning presence, stealing glances all attendees. It’s a shame though economically unprofitable sure some Arab sheik end having one in his possession. Things of money.
