Volvo introduced the new R-Design pack for the Volvo S60, V60 and XC60. And for those who want the mechanics are in alignment with the aesthetics, Volvo adds an enhancement kit courtesy of Polestar Performance in the S60 and V60.

Cosmetic changes focus on the front and the rear. In front, the new grille highlights Frameless matte black with a chrome slash, while the striking rear diffuser and tailpipes R-Design.

Other notable changes are a chassis 15 mm lower and 19-inch wheels. In addition, the R-Design sport chassis has 20% firmer dampers and “new front bushings up to 400% stronger,” according to the press release.

Inside, the upholstery is perforated leather and nubuck (a type of leather like before), but if you prefer the client has the opportunity to choose full leather upholstery.

Regarding performance, only 6 cylinders in line 3.0-liter T6 Polestar can get the kit that raises its power of 305 hp to 330 hp.

Moreover, the S60, V60 and XC60 T6 serial receive one automatic transmission with faster shift times that improve the T6 accelerations. For example, the 0 to 100 km/h in the case of the V60 T6 is now 6 seconds instead of 6.2 seconds, but the most significant change was seen in the XC60 T6 which sees its 0-100 km/h down from 7.3 seconds to 6.9 seconds with the new gearbox.
