The Fiat 500L is currently manufactured in Serbia, both the European and the American market. In order to boost the economy of your country, the local government reached an agreement with Fiat. In Kragujevac plant, a joint venture between Fiat (67%) and the Serbian state (33%), is industry a cheaper version of Fiat 500L reserved for the Serbian market.

Currently, cars account for 20% of exports from Serbia. Fiat plans to manufacture there this year between 110,000 and 180,000 units of Fiat 500L for Europe and the United States.
