Activity in Romanian facilities Mioveni complete standstill. Workers are on strike and are demanding an increase in wages, which is currently being negotiated with the company and could reach an agreement soon.

The average wage of workers in Dacia is 3,700 lei, about €837 to current exchange rates, while the national average is at 2,100 lei (€475). Despite this apparent good situation of workers, calls for a 25% increase in wages.

So far no official of the company wanted to make statements about the state of negotiations, but we know they can not take it easy and have the production line stops. Dacia is one of the firms with better prospects. Only in February sales rose 15% in Europe and almost 90% of production is exported Romanian.

Locally, Dacia is one of the largest companies in Romania and the first export, accounting for about 3% of gross domestic product . In 2012 they sold no less than 360,000 units (and this does not include figures remarcadas units with other brands).
