James Glickenhaus Ferrari is angry. The collector, who once asked Pininfarina to create for him the P4 / 5 that became so famous, broke relations with the mark of cavallino time ago, when it began its journey to the circuit with a racing variant of the same model, built from the skeleton of a Ferrari 430 Scuderia.

When presented his LaFerrari Italian brand in the last Geneva Motor Show, Glickenhaus pushed a step further, telling a story about how the Ferrari Chat Pininfarina design was not chosen because to the house of Maranello was angry for making the P4/5 “so beautiful”.

Further analysis of the proposed Pininfarina (the TensoStruttura that you saw in the previous post of Sergio Pininfarina) make it clear that he had much to do with the P4/5. Not only that: it has long been known that Ferrari is trying to internalize much of its design and development tasks, to optimize the use of its industrial resources, which takes weight to statements Glickenhaus.

The touch-Glickenhaus Ferrari is total, and it now wants to present their new car in 2015, at the Geneva Motor Show.

But good James has “pasta”, and has good taste. So, with no intention of buying a LaFerrari, will go his own way.

Has just announced a new project in FerrariChat, and of course, taking into account the background, we have to take seriously, because when this man talks, which says just building.

Has James going to subsidize the creation of a “tribute” to the Alfa Romeo racing type 33 (hey, not to be confused with the 33 Stradale, or the compact namesake late eighties), whose opening carrier will have “a lot to do with the Pininfarina Modulo”, what makes us think of a folding cockpit. Glickenhaus also says that the design “incorporated three wings that form the body itself”. Mind that the goal of weight and size is much lower than their P4 / 5 original (based on an Enzo) and expects to have a mechanical V6 biturbo (something F1 2014), with a carbon fiber monocoque shared with anyone probably existing.

Ideas? The technical specification Maserati brother seems to speak of the Alfa Romeo 4C (same weight goal, same mechanics, same power, same size), but everything he does he does Glickenhaus your way.

Keep you informed. Indeed, the project is called P33.
