Confirmed the replacement of the 1-Series M Coupe, BMW is preparing a new brand exclusively for China

O CEO of M department of BMW, Dr. Friedrich Nitschke confirmed that the company is preparing the successor of the BMW 1-Series M Coupe. Based on the BMW M135i, which the Nitschke called it as a not purebred M car, and will be presented in the exhibition in Detroit Auto Show in January 2014. More details about this are not revealed Nitschke, but respondent about whether a future four-wheel drive version of the BMW M6 Gran Coupe, clarified that no, the BMW M6 will be offered.

In related news by BMW in cooperation with Brilliance prepare a new brand for the Chinese market. The rumors being called Zhi Nuo and the first models that could hit the market would be one based on the BMW X1 and the previous BMW 3 Series.
