General Motors Brazil has introduced a new four-door sedan. Under the name Chevrolet Prisma , derived directly from Onix Hatchback and put on sale in this week in the local market, leaving little later launched in other countries in the region.
Previous Regarding the Chevrolet Prisma, the new generation is more large, slender and elegant. It has a wheelbase of 2.53 meters and boasts 500 liters boot capacity, one of the largest in the segment just behind the Grand Fiat Siena (520 liters). The platform used is the GSV (Global Small Vehicle) already using the Onyx, Cobalt and Spin. The total length of new Prisma is 4.275 meters, making it one of the most compact in the category.
The engines offer at least initially will have two flexible blocks, a 1.0i Flex with up to 80 hp and up Flex 1.4i 106 hp. Gasoline or alcohol can lead and are always associated with the five-speed manual gearbox. From the second half the stronger you can also buy a six-speed automatic transmission.
As in the other models of the brand, the Prism is offered with LT trim levels and LTZ. The first will be the only one for the small engine, leaving the two with the most powerful endings. Among the equipment options are the Chevrolet MyLink system, trip computer, alloy wheels, air conditioning, power package, fog lights, etc, being standard in all the ABS and dual airbags.
