570,000 units of the BMW 3 Series, BMW 1 Series and BMW Z4 manufactured between 2007 and 2011 will have to go to the shop in North America, after detecting problems at the terminals of the batteries of these vehicles, which cause problems during startup and during loading battery.

BMW claims to have the fault rectified since then through a process of silver plated terminals for currently installed in their vehicles. Such terminals will be applied, free, units recalls.

Interestingly, although the models sold in Europe have the same type of terminal Americans, it seems that here, at least for now, there is no call to review.
