When we met with Elon Musk to interview a few months ago, the CEO of Tesla assured us that in the first weeks of 2013 the production rate of the Model S and to reach 400 units weekly.

And what promises Musk, Musk to comply: this week the factory has started its new production rate from 200 to 400 units each week, or whatever it is, is already in the range of 20,000 units annually. Ensures Musk that during 2013 we will see the “turnaround” of the turnover of the company, as it expects this year see its first profitable quarter in Tesla, after much suffering and much money invested.

While we see Fisker stop leads to production six months, and beset by huge problems with the batteries and the media, the story of Tesla, which has passed its own storm a couple of years ago, now looks much more positive. The acceptance of the Model S is still good, and if things keep this trend we could be facing the real awakening of pure electric first manufacturer in the world.
