Volkswagen confirmed yesterday that it will invest no less than 785 million euros over the next five years at its plant in Landaben, Navarra, to adapt the facilities to manufacture the next generation of the Polo .
This will involve setting up an assembly line that employ the new modular transverse platform will lead the new Polo. Speculation also that of Pamplona, whose current production capacity is 300,000 units per year, also could be born the new crossover segment B of Volkswagen, but it is a guess, nothing more.
Anyway, good (and predictable) news for Landaben, ensuring in this way for at least a generation of Volkswagen Polo in charge. As a mere curiosity, we want to remind you of the same factory at the time the Authi Mini Spanish born, and later was the site of manufacture the 124d SEAT, before passing into the hands of Volkswagen.
